"Amazed at How Easy It Is to Hear"
It took a long time to talk myself into getting my hearing checked. (Perhaps because I couldn’t hear myself very well.) For the past few years I found watching T.V. or attending meetings becoming less enjoyable. I found it hard to understand what was being said and it gets embarrassing to constantly ask people to repeat themselves.
As I walked past Crystal Hearing in the Sevenoaks Mall in Abbotsford, I summoned the courage to go in and make an appointment. Within a couple of weeks I was the proud owner of a pair of Phonak hearing aids. Andy made it easy; making adjustments to ensure I was comfortable with my new hearing aids. I found them easy to get used to. The ability they have to enable me to use my cell phone hands free is an added benefit.
It has become as second nature to put in my hearing aids each morning as it is to put on my glasses. I can’t do without either one of them. As a person who has worn glasses for close to sixty years I question why it took so long for me to do something about my hearing.

After two operations on my left ear to repair a damaged ear drum, my hearing decreased to the point where a hearing aid was required. I have flown private aircraft since 1967, so one of my concerns was could I use my hearing aid while wearing my head set without a feedback squeal? Well my concerns were answered on the first flight with my new hearing aid, WOW no squeal! Not only that, I had to turn down the volume on all the communication equipment. I use David Clark headsets when I fly so other brands may have other results but I was impressed. This is a wonderful new world for me, thanks to the folks at Crystal Vision & Hearing Centre, your service is great.

"I Relish all the Sounds I Can Now Hear"
On September 12, 2010 I finally admitted to myself that I had a problem hearing. My family enjoys teasing one another with barbs and sarcasm and because of my hearing loss I was no longer the clever mom / grandmother always ready with a smart comeback. I was feeling isolated and had finally had enough of having to keep saying "What?" and "What did they say?". I went into Crystal Vision & Hearing and had a hearing test done by Nicolle. Using a chart she showed me just how much hearing I had lost. Nicolle helped me to settle on an over-the-ear model and she painstakingly led me through understanding my new hearing aid. I am thrilled with my new hearing aid - I didn't remember the sound of any bird other than a loud crow. I realized my quiet car wasn't as quiet as I thought. I learned again that the world is a pretty noisy place - but I relish all the sounds I can now hear. Look out kids - I'm back!

"Relief from Tinnitus"
I have had test after test over many years and have tried all sorts of remedies to try to eliminate Tinnitus without any kind of relief. When I went to Crystal Vision Hearing Centre to find hearing aids to suit my husband, I mentioned to the technician, "Too bad they didn't have some kind of device to eliminate my Tinnitus." She recommended I try hearing aids, and she fit me with a pair that took the ringing away immediately. I am so relieved and am happy for the first time in 35 years. I was referred to Crystal Vision in the Semiahmoo Shopping Centre by a close friend. Having looked at the cost of glasses in another optical store, it was with some trepidation that I visited Crystal Vision. Imagine my surprise when they assured me they could fill my prescription at a much lower cost and offered me a cup of tea whilst filling out the order documents. The employee who served me, Jennafer, was gentle, professional and non-pressuring in her support and advice. She also helped me choose a suitable pair of fit-over sun glasses. The whole experience was really lovely. I felt that I mattered to them. A totally wonderful experience. What a GREAT COMPANY!!!

"Extremely Happy with My Purchase"
I have nothing to say but the most positive comments about Crystal Vision and their staff at the Maple Ridge location. I had a very difficult time finding glasses that fit my face properly and spent many hours trying on frames, visiting Crystal Vision, getting to know their staff and trying to decide on the perfect pair of eye wear. Jeanette Bailey, the Maple Ridge store Manager, went over and above her duty as store manager to make a customer happy and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I am a very picky and perfection seeking person and I am always very observant of customer service at any location of business and I can say that this store excels at customer service. Every time you enter the store you are greeted by a friendly face and asked if you would like a beverage while you look at frames, something that does not happen at any of the other eye wear stores I visited - and I visited all of them! As well, they are honest and extremely patient while trying to make the decision of what frames look the best. I will recommend all my friends and family to go and visit Crystal Vision when they are in need of glasses or contact lenses and I will remain a loyal customer to this local business. Not only do I feel like a well treated customer but more like a friend. Thank you Crystal Vision for the friendly faces, caring staff and impeccable customer service - it does not go unnoticed!

You assured me they were state of the art and couldn't be better. After several visits, along with your kindness and co-operation, I couldn't be happier with them. My hearing is excellent, they are comfortable to wear, along with easy maintenance and your offer of batteries was great. My experience at Crystal Vision was quite the same. With all the astigmatism I have and the glasses have to be made exactly correct or I have double vision, your technicians showed their expertise with my glasses being perfect. I must add, I have not had this satisfaction at other hearing and vision stores. I have had my hearing aids for only a few days, and these are a few improvements in my life already: on the first day I realized my living room clock had a distinctive tick that I had never heard before; for the first time at my weekly dinner date with my daughter, I never once had to ask [her] what the waiter had said was on special; [I realized] my clothes dryer has a buzzer when the clothes are dry (I was always missing it); I can lower the volume on my TV and radio, and lower it on my phone. [I'm] sending you this note to let you know how pleased I am with the service you have given me. I don’t mind telling you when I began my search for "the right hearing aid for me" I did so with much apprehension.... When I came to [Crystal Vision & Hearing] you spent a lot of time with me, not only doing an extensive and professional hearing test but also you took time to answer all of my questions and you explained in great detail how they work, dispelling my fears about the use of hearing aids.... I love to bake and many times when I put something in the oven and then went about my work the timer would chime but I didn't hear it, consequently I had to throw out some good, but badly burned food. Not anymore! Even if I am in a different room I can hear when the warning bell goes off! It is also nice to be able to talk to my friends, even those with very quiet voices, and not have to ask them to repeat what they said. I'm sure they are glad too! I could go on but I think you get the message that I am very grateful, not just for the hearing aids, but for the kind and willing way you help me with whatever problem I may be having and for your promise of ongoing help whenever I need it. So thank you very much for making this experience a pleasant one. I hope you will be able to help a lot of people who have hearing loss and need someone to guide them through the process of hearing aids.
